I am now back in Lubbock, Texas!
New year, old friends, new friends, great fun, good education, and best of all-- THE TECH CHANNEL. haha.
One free week without school or work, and I'll probably sleep through most of it despite my best intentions...oh well!
I haven't updated this thing in a while, figured it was about time I put some things on record:
Summer is officially over for me, but it didn't come and go without it's good times. So I recap.
- Best Second: The minute I got back into Garland and realized it was summer
- Best Minute: any time I laughed until it hurt
- Best Hour: The first day of summer when we went and visited the school, afterwards we all met up at Potbelly's. That was a good hour.
- Best Morning: When I woke up next to someone and felt safe enough to go right back to sleep
- Best Day: When my mother and I went to the Four Seasons and had Massages.
- Best Afternoon: Geena, Lake Lavon, and the summer sun
- Best Evening: Playing tennis with Hunter, or with anyone
- Best weekend: It's a toss up between the lakehouse with kara and Meg, 4th of July weekend, and our summer Barbeque.
Some other good stuff includes
Shopping all day with Michele.
Crazy nights with the girls when we never ended up where we originally planned
Clubbing with good people til 2 am
The Kelly Clarkson concert
Coming up with hypotheticals with Darren
Seeing countless movies
anytime spent in or around a park
Realizing that this summer was different from any other in so many ways
The Mavericks in the finals!
Eating wings and then riding in an 18 wheeler!!!
and soooo many more.
I am exhausted now haha. now from this but whatever.
